About Us

Jim Lawrance, owner of Lawrence Electrical, became started in the field as a young man and spent his first 20 years working with a local electrician gaining valuable knowledge and experience. Having grown in both confidence and expertise during those first 20 years, Jim decided that the time had come to reach out on his own.

Lawrence Electrical was established in the year 1978, during which time Jim spent the first 6 months working alone and laying the foundation for what would later become a long established business with a reputation for excellence. It was about 6 months after opening that Jim hired his first employee, an apprentice to assist with a growing work load. Then about 2 years later with work continuing to increase an additional 2 employees were hired bringing the Lawrence Electrical crew up to a total of 3, in addition to Jim Lawrence. Over the years the number of employees had grown to as many as 12, and currently sits at a comfortable 8 employees.

Our crew consists of highly skilled and dedicated individuals, four of whom are licensed as masters, if not journeyman, and the rest who are apprentices at different stages ranging from 1st to 3rd year. All of our employees are NFPA 70 Certified, in addition to one individual who is certified in both CPR and first aid. Owner, Jim Lawrence is a Master Electrician for NH, and VT, and also NFPA 70 Certified.

Lawrence Electrical is FULLY INSURED, and also maintains workman's comp.

On a more personal note, Jim and his wonderful wife Cindy have been married for 20 years, and been blessed with 3 sons and a daughter, both in and out of school. Jim also enjoys hunting, and an occasional game of golf, though finding the time for either is a challenge to be sure.

Looking to the future our goals at Lawrence Electric are to continue maintaining the same degree of excellence, work ethic, and customer satisfaction that has become our trade mark. We will end endeover to remain steady in our course, and continue to maintain the same high quality of qualified workers as we historically have. To maintain the highest degree of quality control in both work quality and customer satisfaction we would like to keep Lawrence Electrical at our current operational size, which is optimal.
